les 13, 14 et 15 avril prochains au Centre Aydelu, 94, rue du Patrimoine
(secteur Aylmer) à Gatineau. 34 artistes connus, tous les mediums
Vendredi, 13 avril de 19h à 21h30 – soirée du vernissage.
Samedi et dimanche 14 et 15 avril de 11h à 17h.
Entrée libre et stationnement gratuit.

Centre culturel ”Les trois p’tits points…”, Alexandria, On

ARTour weekend is over already…

My studio is my favorite place.

Well, another Studio Tour of Prescott-Russell artists is over. And it was a success! A beautiful and sunny Fall weekend brought approximately 300 visitors into the private world of artists. Painters, sculptors, jewellers, photographer, stained glass artist, all 21 ARTour participants were ready and happy to greet people in their studio. Visitors thoroughly enjoyed discovering beautiful works of art and new techniques and were surprised to find out how many talented artists there are in our Eastern Ontario region of Prescott-Russell.

I had the pleasure of welcoming about one hundred visitors and share with them my passion for working with mixed media techniques, creating textures, adding collage elements and vivid colours to my paintings. This experience is not only pleasant for visitors; it is also very stimulating for the artists. And so, I am going back to my studio, filled with new ideas and projects for next year’s ARTour.

Coloris sur la Baie – 29 et 30 octobre 2011

La 6e édition de Coloris sur la Baie aura lieu les samedi 29 et dimanche 30 octobre prochains au River Rock Inn, 2808 rue Chamberland à Rockland. Trente-cinq artistes de renommée seront sur place pour présenter leurs œuvres.

Chaque année, Coloris sur la baie appuie un organisme choisi en offrant une partie des profits de l’exposition. Cette année, le Centre de cancérologie de l’Hôpital d’Ottawa est l’organisme privilégié.

The 6th Annual Art Show of Colours on the Bay will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th, at the River Rock Inn, 2808 Chamberland Street in Rockland. Thirty-five renowned artists will be on the premises to show their works of art.

Each year, Colors on the Bay supports an organization by offering a percentage of the exhibition’s profits. This year, the Cancer Centre of the Ottawa Hospital is the organization that has been chosen.

Festival de la Curd du 17 au 21 août 2011

Le Festival de la Curd, l’un des festivals les plus populaires et fréquentés des comtés de Prescott et Russell. Rendez-vous à St-Albert du 17 au 21 août prochains. Fromage, bonne bouffe, spectacles et activités communautaires. Quelques artistes d’ARTour 2011 seront au Marché des Saveurs les 20 et 21 août entre 11 h et 19 h. Venez nous rencontrer!
